Sneak Peeks | Sacramento Wedding and Portrait Photographer

Happy Monday everyone! Hope you are enjoying the beginning of your week… remember to stop, unplug and take in a moment here and there (something I am reminding myself to do these next few days). Here are a few sneak peeks…enjoy.

Stay tuned for their full blog posts!

Tai + Lukas | Davis, California

Nina and her girls | Placerville, California

Micah, Sandy and the kids | Folsom, California

Nick | Oak Ridge High School Senior Photographer

And he’s off… to Southern California that is. Nick will be attending UC Santa Barbara in the fall. Go Gauchos! It was so much fun hanging out with you and shooting your senior session, Nick. You’re a total natural. Congratulations on the up coming graduation and your future college endeavors.

There’s that awesome SMILE!

I have been wanting to try this style of tinting on a few pictures and I love how it turned out on these two. Hello… MODEL!

Lael + Stefen | El Dorado Hills Engagement Photographer

His grocery shopping was always fairly light. First, it was a couple apples and maybe a head of lettuce… then a few days later a bag a chips and an orange. Stefen would find any excuse to come into the store so he could visit with Lael, the cute checker in lane 2. In the end, his persistence and constant need for groceries won Lael’s heart. So, it was only right that our first stop in their engagement session was the grocery store.

Lael, I LOVE your laugh!

I think out of all the e-sessions I have done shooting in a grocery store takes the cake!  FYI photographers: A great deal of hoop jumping and a blessing from corporate office was given before photographing in store.

One of my favs

Stefen races dirt bikes so we headed over to the Prairie City race track.

“You’re going DOWN sweetheart!”

Stefen and Lael, you are AMAZING together. Looking forward to your  BIG day in August!

These are amazing! That grocery store session must have been so fun – those are the coolest pictures! We want to do ours at the Prairie City off-roading area. Love it!

Oh my god! I love them. I know Lael said you were good, but damn! these are amazing!!

Maral + Nema | Sacramento Engagement Photographer

“It began as a childhood crush in fifth grade… He was so tall. I liked that.” Maral coyly said as her eyes searched Nema’s face for a reaction. Nema grinned and explained that in Iran the girls attended school in the morning and the boys in the afternoon. “So we only saw each other briefly by peering over the school wall.”

But, after primary school, Maral and her family moved to Canada and Nema relocated to Germany. It wasn’t until years later that a mutual childhood friend would reconnect them again.

Love this!

Nema and Maral, it was wonderful spending time with the two of you.  Looking forward to your June wedding.

Andy, Darci and the kids | Cameron Park Photographer

It had been raining all week long (well…when has it not rained) but last Friday the storm broke. Yippee! So off went Andy, Darci, the kids and I through the lush backyard greenery, ready to capture some fun family moments. Here are a few from the evening.

LOVE, this expression! Now, Sweet Pea knows me… I’ve photographed her before, but every little one needs to warm up to the camera. I giggle every time I look at this.

Let’s talk to Baby. She’ll understand.

You couldn’t tell that we braved poison oak and the crazy mosquitoes, right?

A tree swing! Such fun!

Andy, Darci and kiddos, thank you for sharing your evening with me. Much love.
