It’s been awhile since the last Love it or Leave it so here’s an update…
Leave It
There has to be an easier way to get coconut off it’s shell… after another failed attempt with the family, I did a little research and if you stick it in the oven for twenty mins at 400 it comes right off. Hum, who knew?
The ending to LOST. What in the world?
Drinking more than four shots of espresso in one sitting… makes me CRAZY.
Love It
Alejandro Reyes and his Sacramento Marketing Labs- SEO Workshop. Can you say AWESOME! (with the voice of Rhino from Bolt in your tone) Yesterday I went to his wedding vendor workshop and my head is still spinning from all the fantastic info I learned. If you want to make your mark BIG in online search tools and marketing, call him.
The best twitter quote this week: “I wonder what Dora’s parents would do if they knew she cut school everyday to meet up with talking animals and travel the world singing to herself?” That just makes me giggle.
GLEE and Mr. Shue’s booty shake. period. word.
Boo’s (my daughter) quote, “Pleeease Mom! I’ll be your best kid!” … Oy Vey
Rockin Frog Yogurt: need that stuff
It never gets old hearing how much your clients LOVE the service you have provided… never. Warms my heart. I heart my job.
And all posts need a picture, so here’s a little preview of our next entry!

Tai sat back in the seat and enjoyed her drink while her friend’s conversation swirled around the table at the Little Prague Bar . She was new to Davis but enjoyed the silence for a moment. After a few minutes Tai’s eyes shifted to the man standing in the restaurant’s doorway as Carla from the table called out, “Lukas! Come join us!” With those four words, Tai and Lukas’ romance began.
May 22nd had finally arrived. Everything was prepared and even the rain stayed at bay.

Lovely Tai looking over her vows

My second photographer, Erika Jackson captured this one of the boys getting ready

Tai and Lukas’ first look. Lukas was just a bit nervous seeing his bride for the first time. So cute!

The almond orchard ceremony and reception was held in the beautiful-sprawling backyard of the Burger family

Lukas runs a tennis academy so I thought it would be a fun to use the court lines in the ring shot.

Lukas and Tai, your wedding was stunning! Both of you and the family worked so hard on every detail and it showed. Thank you for honoring me with documenting your day.
Stay tuned for a custom slide show

Their hearts were open to God’s calling… and five years ago it came to Micah and Sandy in the form of an eleven year old foster child named Raider. After eight different foster homes, Raider longed to call someone “Mom,” someone “Dad” and most importantly to call a house a home. Through their selfless process of foster care to adoption with Raider, Home for Good Ministries was born. There are over 4000 children in Greater Sacramento who are in foster care right now. Home for Good Ministries’ mission is to equip others and churches to the care of our orphans, either through adoption or assisting families who have adopted.
Here is the beautiful family and some favorites from their session.

We can’t forget about James and Haylie! Such Cuties. Look at those lips!

Love the photos and story. You are so gifted at choosing sites and “poses” for your portraits. You capture the best of everyone you shoot. Bless you.
Thank you Mariea – I love them. I love the first one and the one on the log where everyone is laughing – I think I recall what they were laughing about
And the ones of Micah and I – we don’t have any good pics of us. Thanks so much!! Can’t wait for your session as well!
